In her hammer-and-tongs fight for Missouri Senate, Claire McCaskill's been tapping the Hollywood contingent.
In this spot, she taps Michael J. Fox to trash her opponent about stem cell research.
Is politics ready for big time celebrity endorsements? Are paid celebrity endorsements right around the corner? Hmmm.

The Fox ad supports the candidates, not the amendment. I think the Fox ad could push McCaskill over the top.

This features sports stars Kurt Warner and actress Patricia Heaton. The difference is these aren't medical experts and they don't have Parkinsons plus it's web only. There simply isn't the same gravitas.

The RNC response looks very homemade, but that may be on purpose to combat the very professional MJF ad.
Personally, if MJF was my client I wouldn't let him do attack ads, hurts his credibility on Capitol Hill.
We're watching this race closely and, so far, the numbers ain't moving.
